Blank window on Mac OSX

Postby pviana » Wed Apr 16, 2014 8:02 am

Running FreeRouting on a Macbook Pro OSX 10.9.2 I am able to see the general menu, where I can chose which project or demo to open. But once the project is open, I can not see the graphics nor the top menu. Actually, it looks like it is running, but it's lacking all the graphical interface inside the application window. Running Windows 7 over VirtualBox on this same machine everything works nice, but it is quite slow, of course.
Back to OSX, I have tried on Java 7 and also recently updated it to Java 8. So far, I couldn't see any change on solving this problem. Is anybody out there who is able to run Freerouting on a Mac?
Thanks.

I just found out this problem was my Java installation. It was nicely solved by
1) Removing Oracle Java 7 (or 8)
2) Reinstalling Java for Mac OSX (from Apple)
3) Reinstalling Oracle Java 7 (or newer)
