GUI completely useless in Linux & Open JDK 7

The GUI is completely buggy running in FF & Linux Ubuntu 12 && Open JDK 7.
Nothing works, remove the PN stuff same thing, NO BUTTON works, try each one, it just locks the GUI forever, a new window opens in blank and stays that way forever.
Try to load a eagle design (.dsn), it is so simple that is ridiculous and stays "Loading Design" forever... and the window pops in Front focus from time to time...
What happened with the java gui ? Any changes recently cause it worked normally a couple of weeks ago, so bad this is completely useless now.

This file simply doesn't load nor work at all, I can't load it from java gui...

Just tried the latest SUN JDK, not the Open JDK one, SUN's JDK 7.

Same thing, completely useless, none of buttons work, all I see is a blank screen "Loading design", if I click any other buttons, all GUI locks up.
Nothing I can do except do a "$ kill -9" on the java process...

Too bad, this was a great tool.

Sounds like a Java issue, I'm running WinXP with J6 and it loads just fine:
