Is there an interested group of people who'd like to continue working on Freerouter?

Maybe. The problem is that we cannot really discuss this here without the risk of putting the owner of this board in danger.

I built everything. I "web-enabled" it. Not sure what the exact "web-enabled" settings should be.

When I try to run from the NetBeans IDE, I get the following:
run:
Exception in thread "main" java.util.MissingResourceException: Can't find bundle for base name gui.resources.MainApplication, locale en
at java.util.ResourceBundle.throwMissingResourceException(ResourceBundle.java:1564)
at java.util.ResourceBundle.getBundleImpl(ResourceBundle.java:1387)
at java.util.ResourceBundle.getBundle(ResourceBundle.java:845)
at gui.MainApplication.<init>(MainApplication.java:148)
at gui.MainApplication.main(MainApplication.java:132)
Java Result: 1

Any idea what is missing or incorrectly configured or ???

Thanks,
Eric

it looks like the .properties files (these are in the 'resources' folders) are not getting to classpath.

As an option you might want to try the github version which has ANT build.xml - one of the four copies of the source code on github have it.

If anyone happened to be working on a totally unrelated clean-room implementation in C# they would probably find it extremely instructive to examine the freerouting java source. Such a pity it's no longer available. Did I mention that my email address is restart67 at hotmail.com?

I wonder what is the chance that googling for "freerouting source code" would still give you the source code?

Using those search terms returns hordes of completely reasonable false positives. But to interested parties I say "think laterally, read this forum carefully and be specific".

as a newbie linux , I just installed kicad . Freerouting with netbeans is working well but I would be happy to run FreeRouting without netbeans , as a standalone app.
I tried what is explained in a previous post but failed .
Can you be a little more detailed ?
thanks in advance
